Principles & Motivation

Building a good incentive system is hard, given multiple, often conflicting priorities. So we asked ourselves the following:

How do we build an economy that rewards the highest conviction holders, biggest longer-term investors, and most active platform users, while staying regulation-compliant and inclusive for future holders?

There are several factors that we have considered:

• Regulation and compliance
• Passive rewards sharing doesn’t align incentives with the project and highest conviction holders, since it rewards holders doing nothing.
• Capping profits at 75% is a pretty significant sacrifice, it has to bring enough value in return to team and community.
• Feeding the whales dilemma - Avoid aggregation of 98% of capital in hands of 2% of holders. But still reward the biggest supporters (to start). How do we build an economy that self-balances over time rather than “feeding the whales”?

We have consulted a cohort o game designers and tokenomics experts, and below is our best attempt at a tokenomics model that satisfies all constraints and principles.
